St Leonards Concordia Hall filled with excited young people from Nepal to Zimbabwe to India to Libya to Congo to Bexhill and Hastings - we had a great time entertaining each other and building friendships across difference. Local singing star Ian Edwards not only entertained us very professionally, but also headed the judges for the Talent Competition and managed the PA system for all the competitors!

Many thanks to Cllr. Jeremy Birch and Mayor Kim Forward, who graced us with their welcome and presence for the whole afternoon, finally presenting the Talent Competition Prizes - it was great to have Gizmo Kids, Pestalozzi Village and St Mary’s School Bexhill swelling the numbers to over one hundred and contributing their music and joy.

The Global Fashion show designed by Zahra Rose and model by friends from Sussex Coast College brought the afternoon to a wonderful high point. Congratulations to the performers, many pictured here, and to Zahra Rose who is now on her way to Dubai Fashion Weekend as one of six young designers, selected from 250 competitors, to display their fashion on the cat walk.
Thanks to SE England Faiths Forum for their financial support, to Hastings Council for their help with publicity and networking, to Oli, Tim, Kev, Sharn, Michelle and other volunteers and to Inspire Artworks who helped us create a wonderful banner.
